A one-off, limited-edition PRS 40th Anniversary model is now available!

This rare instrument features a standard-grade top, rather than the artist-grade top typically used on this model, and a custom color scheme. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of PRS Guitars, only 400 units will be produced worldwide. This model incorporates the iconic PRS design with special features worthy of its limited edition name, creating a special feeling for musicians and anyone who owns it. While featuring mahogany back and neck with a maple top, a familiar body and neck combination from the Custom 24, the body features a figured maple top, and the fingerboard and headstock are veneered with ziricote. Other touches pay homage to early PRS products, including a retro violin top carve with a deeper body edge, outlined old-school bird inlays, and a headstock eagle found on pre-factory models.

The pickups are new PRS DMO treble and bass pickups. DMO stands for Dynamic, Musical, and Open. Designed by Paul Reed Smith and his engineering team, the new product development team aimed for a spacious, clear sound with rich, vocal-like expressiveness. This rare 40th anniversary model features a standard-grade top, making it a slightly better value than the standard-grade top, so don’t miss out!
