The PRS S2 Studio combines vintage sound with modern playability. Featuring PRS Narrowfield pickups in the bass and middle positions and a 58/15 LT humbucker in the treble position, it delivers a dynamic sound that ranges from clear, punchy single-coil tones to warm, sustained humbucker tones. The 5-way blade switch and push-pull tone control combine to deliver versatile sonic versatility, making it an appealing model for a wide range of genres.

Featuring a maple top and mahogany back, the S2 Studio delivers a balanced, clear sound from low to high frequencies, responding well to even the most delicate picking nuances. The 22-fret, 25-inch scale, patterned regular-shaped mahogany neck, combined with a 10-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard, delivers the exceptional playability PRS is known for.
