Modern Eagle V, which uses an HSH (humbucker-single-humbucker) pickup layout and a unique electronics layout, is an innovative model that can be used in any scene, such as recording and live performance. This model features 22 frets, a 25-inch scale, maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, Pattern neck shape, rosewood fingerboard, bone nut, PRS Phase III tuners and a PRS Gen III tremolo unit. The 5-way blade switch, push/pull tone controls, and two EQ mini toggle switches allow you to play with a wide variety of sounds without having to change your guitar. When the

EQ mini toggle switch is turned on (upper position), the high-pass filter functions, shelving the low frequencies and creating a clearer, more musical tone in the high frequencies.

[Description of the individual]
The switching, which may seem complicated at first glance, is composed of a 5-way blade switch and two mini toggle switches, but it basically works the same as the 509. The 5-way blade switch operates as follows: (1) rear / (2) rear + center / (3) center / (4) center + front / (5) front. The two mini toggle switches right next to the blade switch activate the high-pass filters for each humbucker pickup.

In addition, the tone control is push/pull type, and when engaged, it is possible to output both humbuckers. This allows you to access all three pickups at the same time.

The pickups are the TCI pickups, a masterpiece of low-output pickups that were installed in the new Paul’s Guitar announced at Experience PRS in 2018, on the rear and front, and the center pickup is equipped with the NS-01 Singlecoil, which is slightly closer to the front.
This makes it possible to cover everything from vintage-feel single coil sounds that could not be produced by previous guitars to modern and clear sounds, making it the strongest all-purpose guitar of all time.
