“The DGT Semi-Hollow Limited Edition is based on a guitar that was specially ordered from PRS several years ago. The semi-hollow design adds warmth to the high range and a slightly cleaner sound in the low range compared to the previous solid type, so it has a different charm from previous DGTs and can be used in a wide range of situations. ” – David Grissom

This limited edition was designed based on David Grissom’s personally owned guitar, and while the core specifications of the PRS DGT such as the neck shape, pickups, and 2 volume control layout remain the same, it adopts a semi-hollow structure to produce a richer body resonance and a more dynamic sound.

The original DGT was developed based on the McCarty and was born from a collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom that lasted more than a decade. This limited edition, limited to 200 units worldwide, features a McCarty Sunburst finish and moon inlays, further enhancing the sound and appeal of the vintage guitars that are the core of the DGT series.
