The Custom 24 is also known as the signature model of PRS, and has been the core model of PRS since its launch at Winter NAMM in 1985.

The Custom 24, which is loved by many players including top musicians who travel around the world to perform live, is equipped with volume and tone controls, a 5-way blade switch, as well as PRS’s original Gen III tremolo system and DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickups. The DMO pickups, designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS new product engineering team, are packed with all the know-how cultivated in recent product development, from long-term research into vintage pickups to improvements in pickup sound analysis and tuning technology.

The DMO pickups have a wide vocal-like, colorful sound characteristic, and produce a transparent, modern sound across a wide frequency range from low to high.
