To celebrate PRS’s 40th anniversary, the “40th Anniversary Custom 24 Satin Limited Edition” is now available, limited to 500 units worldwide!

The 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Satin Limited Edition is based on PRS’s flagship Custom 24 and features a mango top, ebony fingerboard, satin lacquer finish, and smoke black hardware, creating a special finish befitting PRS’s 40th anniversary.

The mango top is one of this model’s key features, chosen not only for its eye-catching appearance like quilted maple, but also for its sonic characteristics similar to maple. The satin lacquer finish enhances the guitar’s natural resonance, producing a deep, three-dimensional sound while providing comfortable playability. Paying homage to early PRS Guitars, the ebony fingerboard and headstock feature old-school bird and pre-factory eagle inlays, respectively.
While its look differs from the traditional Custom 24, it retains core specifications, including a mahogany back and neck, 25-inch scale length, 24 frets, a 10-inch radius, and a patterned thin neck shape. It also features Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons and PRS’s original Gen III tremolo. The pickups are DMO (Digital Moto-Optic Modular Oscillator) treble and bass pickups, developed by Paul Reed Smith and his new product development team, offering exceptional clarity and a singing voice. Paired with a 5-way blade switch, they offer a wide range of tones.

This model, part of PRS’s 40th anniversary project, will be produced in a limited run of 500 worldwide, each with a 40th anniversary certificate autographed by Paul Reed Smith.
