[Body, Neck, and Fingerboard]

The body features a classic combination of a flame maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

[Neck Shape]

The neck shape is “Wide Thin.” Its wide, thin grip makes it ideal for fast playing and lead playing.

[Pickups]

The guitar is equipped with the classic “HFS (Vintage Bass)” pickups. HFS, which stands for “Hot, Fat, Screams,” is an evolution of the original Standard Treble pickup. The HFS pickup is a powerful pickup with a balanced attack, clear highs, strong midrange, and robust lows. The Vintage Bass features a warm high-mid sound perfect for rock and jazz.

[Controls]

The controls are essentially a McCarthy circuit, with one volume, one tone, a three-way toggle switch, and a coil tap. The layout is simple yet allows for a wide variety of sounds.
