The StingRay Special 5-string model is now available, perfect for the stage.

The first 5-string bass by Ernie Ball Music Man, the StingRay 5, has been the industry standard for basses with a wide range since its introduction in 1987.
With a powerful and punchy sound, flexible pickups that expand sound variations by switching the switch, a contoured body that enhances playability, and the introduction of a 2-pickup model, the StingRay 5 will meet players’ expectations.

This is a 5-string model with 1 pickup. The
newly designed StingRay pickup uses a powerful neodymium magnet with higher output and a wider range. The
newly designed 18-volt 3-band EQ preamp with more headroom can produce modern and punchy sounds as well as vintage tones.

The redesigned and lightweight tuning machine is highly reliable, provides pitch stability while preventing head drop, and achieves a well-balanced neck.
The matching head specification features a tortoiseshell pickguard, white PU cover, and ebony fingerboard.
