We have a rare first-generation Mark I that is hard to find on the market.

This unit is known for its many options, but the front panel does not have a graphic EQ, and it also has a 3-switch specification with a 100W/60W changeover switch.

On the rear panel, you can see a sticker from James Co., Ltd., the distributor at the time, so it was officially imported into Japan in the 1970s. (It seems that they were the distributor from around 1977 to 1980.)

The “Boogie” logo plate is from the era when there were no ™ or ® marks. (It is probably from around 1977 to 1978.)
The front has no tears or dents in the tolex, the grill cloth is clean, and the panel is in good condition with no scratches on the letters.

The speaker is equipped with ALTEC 417-8H SERIES II.
It is a valuable speaker that can be said to be the key to the sound of the Mark I.
It is equipped with four SYLVANIA power tubes.

It has been overhauled by the famous domestic workshop “SHINOS Amplifiers”, so you can purchase it with confidence.

Regarding the condition, there are some parts of the tolex on the back that have peeled off, and the power switch button has been replaced during overhaul. (The replaced switch will be included.)

Considering that it is an amplifier that is more than 40 years old, I think it is in very good condition.
