Gretsch 6120 SHT Brian Setzer Hot Rod 1999 (used)
Description
Brian Setzer signature model, 1999 6120 SHT Brian Setzer Hot Rod, a simple customization of the traditional 6120 model. Based
on Gretsch’s standard full-acoustic model 6120, it has been customized in a way that is unique to Brian Setzer’s signature model. The standard 6120 model is equipped with a variety of controls such as a master volume, front volume / rear volume, and tone selector, but this model has a very simple specification with only a 3-way pickup selector and master volume. The
wood materials such as the maple body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard are equipped with a Bigsby tremolo, which is indispensable for this model, and the bridge is a Tune-O-Matic type that can accurately tune the pitch.
As for the condition, the Bigsby tremolo has been replaced. There is a wave on the neck, but it does not interfere with playing at present. There is plenty of room for the truss rod, more than 80% of the frets remain, and there is no major damage to the exterior, so it is in good condition!
This is a customized model unique to Brian Setzer’s signature model!
