Description
The wood material is composed of a laminated maple body / mahogany neck / rosewood fingerboard. The specifications reproduce the dot position marks and thick and thick neck grip of the 1950s. The thick neck produces a thick, sweet tone, a gradual rise, a sense of spaciousness, and a solid sound, which can be called the royal road “335”. The pickups have been replaced from the original to Burstbucker, so the sound has changed to one with a more rock taste. It has a good sound with a Gibson-like muddy feel.
This unit was made in 2005. The whole body has been dented and has been played quite a lot, and there is a feeling of use appropriate for age, such as dullness of the metal parts. The remaining original frets are about 70%, but there are no irregularities. The truss rod can be tightened with plenty of room, so the neck is in good condition and will continue to be useful. The pickups have been changed to Burstbuckers, the pegs are Kluson-type made by another company, and the knobs have been replaced. There is damage to the hard case, but it is not enough to interfere with use.
