Gibson is pleased to announce the release of the Les Paul Music City Special – 50th Anniversary, celebrating 50 years of guitar production in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Les Paul Music City Special is a homage to the creativity, tradition and passion of the players that symbolize Nashville, known as Music City.

The latest Les Paul Music City Special is a modern take on two historic Gibson models, taking inspiration from the 70s Marauder and incorporating elements of the Music City Jr. The
Marauder has been used by artists from Adam Jones to Paul Stanley for many years.

This anniversary model pays tribute to Gibson’s early days of guitar production in Nashville and celebrates Gibson’s 50 years of making guitars for the world in the “Music City.” It has
modern updates while retaining its heritage, providing comfort and playability.

The lightweight solid poplar body and maple neck have a Pro SlimTaper file.
The 22-fret fingerboard is made of striped ebony with acrylic dot inlays. It allows for
smooth playing, whether you’re playing chords in the low positions or bending in the high positions.
All hardware is chrome finished and features a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stopbar tailpiece, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, and an output jack plate cover.
The black 5-ply pickguard is equipped with two Gibson 70s Tribute humbuckers, and the master volume/tone and 3-way selector allow intuitive and comfortable control.

Chrome parts (Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stop bar tailpiece, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, etc.) and the 5-ply black pickguard tighten the visual.
The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish is available in three colors: ebony, wine red, and tobacco burst.
Each is equipped with a truss rod cover commemorating the 50th anniversary and comes with a premium softshell case. The Les Paul Music City Special is limited to 650 units worldwide in each of the three colors.
