Description
This unit has been heavily aged as if it had been used for many years. This 2014 model has been given an outstanding reputation for its sound, with various aspects being revamped, such as tubeless truss rods and glue-based adhesives, and the body top is made of figured maple, the back and neck are made of mahogany, and the fingerboard has a 12-inch radius. The mahogany is colored with Aniline Dye paint, which gives it a vintage-like texture.
The pickups are Gibson Custom Bucker Set. Combined with the Bumblebee replica capacitor, it produces a wonderful vintage tone. It
is aged, so it is difficult to judge, but there is almost no wear on the frets and the scratches are consistent. Compared to the aged guitars handled by the same company that we handle in our store, there are almost no scratches that were added later, so we judge that it is due to genuine Gibson aging. The condition of the nut, frets, and neck is also good, and there is room for both forward and reverse bending of the truss rod. The condition of the electrical system is also good.
