G’Seven Guitars, which used to have a store in Shibuya, the same as our store, but now has a store in Shinjuku, has received overwhelming support from professionals and amateurs alike for repairs and the production of original guitars.
As a domestic guitar brand, it continues to present the finest guitars with the name g7 Special and one of the best quality.
There is no doubt about its ability, as famous national professional artists also use guitars of the same brand.
It is a brand that will definitely meet the feeling of “I just want a good guitar!”

Such g7 guitars have finally arrived at our store!
The one that has arrived this time is the g7-JM/R. It is a JM type model with a very good atmosphere.
Due to its use by artists, the JM type is a particularly popular model among the g7 Special models.
The LPB color is equally as popular as the black one, and it is often difficult to get your hands on one even if you want one because there are so few of them available.

The specs are an alder body with a rosewood fingerboard. It is a typical 60s style.
As mentioned above, the specs say it is Lake Placid Blue, but when combined with Light Aged, it faithfully reproduces the yellowing. It
is not just painted with a green color, but the green is stronger or weaker in some places, and the paint is intentionally painted to create uneven coloring.
The changes in the paint over time are beautifully reproduced.
The vintage-inspired clay dot atmosphere and the color of the mint pickguard are also extremely cool!
However, it is not a vintage-style playability, but a finish that is firmly focused on modern guitarists.
It is equipped with medium-tall frets, so there is no need to worry about clogging, making it a popular specification.
Although it usually has 21 frets, this one is made with 22 frets.
The fingerboard radius is 300mmR, which is flatter than the 210mm and 9.5″ (241mm) commonly seen on Japanese guitars. Even technical playing is possible without stress.
The neck shape is a C-shape that is neither too thick nor too thin. It is not extremely thin, but has just the right grip and fits firmly in the hand.

The other specifications are relatively orthodox, with preset controls for 1Vol and 1Tone.
The g7-JM often does not have preset controls, and sometimes the switches are just dummy.
Whether you actually use them much or not, many people would say that without these controls and this look, it can’t be called a JM type! I am one of those people.
The vintage-like coloring and the wonderful looks make it a must-have.

This model comes with a set of g7’s original pickups, g7-JM-V.
There are several types of JM pickups, but this one is designed to thoroughly pursue a traditional sound.
It has a modest sense of power, so it is sharp and has a wonderful finish that reminds you of the original JM sound!
Therefore, it is not so suitable for use that requires a lot of drive (although it is possible), but it outputs the ultimate brilliance when playing with low gain and focusing on nuances, such as arpeggios!

And speaking of JM types, they are also famous for having many problems around the bridge, including string slippage and string drop.
However, there is no need to worry about such things with this model. The saddle is Guardian’s Rising We order it with a saddle.
It is made of brass, so it has good vibration efficiency, and the acoustic characteristics emphasize the delicious high mids of the JM type.
There is only one groove on which the string rides, so there is no string slippage, and the unique structure holds the strings firmly.
Not only that, you can choose from two types of grub screws. At the moment, we use the “spear” type, which has a pointed tip, which contributes to a sharper sound.
A “hammer” type, which has a nearly flat contact surface, is also included, and you can select the grub screw depending on the sound you want.
The bridge anchor part is also firmly fixed, and the weakness of the bridge gradually lowering with playing has been overcome.

g7 Special not only reproduces vintage, but also continues to produce higher quality guitars in terms of sound, looks, and playability.
The number of production is never large, so if you think “this is it!”, you should never miss it!

Don’t miss this opportunity.

Gig bag included.
