Description

Ritchie Blackmore signature model, the charismatic guitarist of the rock world! ★ This
is a signature model that faithfully reproduces the Stratocaster that Ritchie mainly used from around the album “DOWN TO EARTH” released by RAINBOW in 1979!
Ritchie’s own guitar was a 1974 Stratocaster that was customized in many ways, and in the mid-1980s, it was significantly changed by the addition of guitar synth pickups.
The BLK/M Stratocaster was featured in the release of DEEP PURPLE’s masterpiece “Machine Head,” but this guitar is still Ritchie’s trademark. It has an
alder body, a U-shaped maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a Ritchie scalloped finish that is scalloped only on the treble string side in the low position and scalloped overall as it moves towards the high position, and Seymour Duncan quarter pound (SSL-4) pickups in the neck and bridge positions. The center pickup is a dummy.
Playing “Lost in Hollywood” or “Love’s No Friend” is sure to get you pumped.
RAINBOW will be formed for a limited time in 2016!
Watch Ritchie Blackmore playing hard rock with this guitar!
