alderwood and rosewood fingerboards, it is finished in a warm jazz bass-like sound with characteristics in the midrange.
The body back material uses the well-established alder body. It is a tonewood that combines Fender-like response with a rich midrange.
The pickup is equipped with a Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickup with a staggered pole piece, and a sustain block is mounted under the vintage-style bridge.
Vintage-style tuner, satin-finish neck, Modern “C” shape with 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and narrow tall frets provide smooth playability.
The electrical system is passive, and while following the traditional Fender sound, the playability is improved by making it a 5-string specification.
This is a JBV using EXOTIC WOOD, which was only possible because of ISHIBASHI FSR.
