Fender Custom Shop Custom Built 1969 Stratocaster “Competition Stripe” NOS (British Racing Green)
Description
This ’69 Stratocaster features a Competition Stripe finish!
The body is a 2-Piece Alder with a Lacquer finish, the neck is a 5/4 Quarter Sawn Maple, and the fingerboard is a Round-Laminate Rosewood. The neck shape is a ’60 Style Oval “C” with a 12″ radius and Vintage Upgrade 45085 frets (22 Frets). The frets are thin, similar to vintage frets. The smooth, narrow neck grip, flat fingerboard, and vintage frets combine to create a 22-fret design for excellent playability. The pickups are SSH-wired: a ’69 Strat pickup in the neck and center, and a Seymour Duncan TB-4 Black pickup in the bridge position. The controls include a Master Volume, Tone 1 for neck and center, and Tone 2 for bridge tone control. The ’69 Strat pickups deliver a crystal-clear, brilliant sound, while the TB-4 Black pickups deliver a powerful, forward-sounding midrange, making them suitable for a wide range of genres.
The highlight of this custom model is the competition stripe! The British Racing Green body color and gold stripes create a sporty, race-car-like impression.
Other features include a matching large headstock, black PG finish, and black PU covers, creating a unified overall look and a luxurious feel.
Don’t miss this opportunity to consider this special custom-built guitar!
Please note: The included case is a different color than the one listed on the spec sheet.
