Description
1968 was a major milestone year for Fender amplifiers.
With the introduction of the new look “Silverface” with a pure Fender tone, musicians have expanded the range of amps to choose from, and countless guitarists have strummed the Fender tone.
It features a silver and turquoise front panel and an elegant “drip-edged” grille.
The ’68 Custom amp delivers the world’s deepest, clearer and more powerful tube tones for a classic Fender sound.
Paying homage to the look and tone performance of the time, but with a great deal of flexibility, this model is equipped with a single 12″ CelestionG12V-70″ speaker, which clearly conducts the rock ‘n’ roll spirit into the modern era.
The “Vintage” channel is a traditional silverface tone. The “Custom” channel has a Bassman tone stack.
Reduce negative feedback to enrich touch sensitivity.
Hand-wired tube socket, custom-made Schumacher transformer similar to the original. Stock fenders, tube-driven spring reverb and tremolo (vibrato) are shared on both channels.
