The instrument of the handmade bass brand “F-bass”, led by George Farranett, a leading luthier in Canada, is a high-quality 5-string bass with a feeling close to a jazz bass, while establishing a unique original style. Regardless of the genre, it has now gained immense support from top players around the world.

There are many models and colors of F-bass that make use of ash grain, but the top of this unit uses quilted maple with a glittering and deep grain.
I ordered it with trans blue color / gold parts so that the thickness and movement of the grain shine firmly, but not too flashy, and the player’s personality can be firmly expressed while being flexible.

Equipped with a quarter-soun maple three-piece neck, an original P.U. & preamp, and a wide range of high-quality wood created by the exquisite tension balance of the 34.5-inch scale, the middle feeling that the sound flies forward firmly, and the tone that resonates naturally to low B are attractive.

It is a very excellent instrument that achieves a well-balanced sound with a moderately compressive, open, and punchy sound without compromising the tight low B sound, and a traditional sound that respects Company F, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is a model that can always be the main bass for bassists of all styles.
