Epiphone USA Collection (Coronet Cherry)
Description
The long-awaited USA-made Coronet has arrived!
The Coronet appeared in 1959 after Gibson acquired Epiphone as a rival model to the Gibson Les Paul Jr.
This model adopts a design that follows the initial specifications from 1958 to 1959. It features
a mahogany body with a thickness of about 36 mm, a mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, a Kalamazoo headstock with a bikini badge, sharp body edges, a large pickguard, and octagonal carousel knobs.
The pickup is a black-covered Soap Bar P-90 pickup, and it can be used for a wide range of sounds, from lightly distorted crunch sounds to rock tones with a strong bite.
