It features a maple top, a TAK Matsumoto custom neck profile with a slightly thinner 1959 neck, a Laurel fingerboard, and deep joints that are the same body/neck bonding scheme as the high-end models. The head is decorated with the mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo, which is placed slightly on the underside, as in 1955, and uses a Gibson-style “open book” headstock shape.
The bridge is equipped with a Gibson Historic wraparound bridge with a screw for adjusting intonation, and the strap pin is equipped with a ProRockGear strap lock set.
The pickups are Gibson Burstbucker PRO Alnico 5 with vintage tapered CTS potentiometers, Grey Tiger condensers, Switchcraft 3-way toggle switches, output jacks, and other 50s-style wiring.
