Dave Grohl, former drummer of the legendary band Nirvana and guitarist, singer and songwriter of the Foo Fighters, is a legend in alternative rock who needs no introduction. He has been a Gibson user for a long time, and his Gibson signature guitars are very popular and sell at premium prices on the used market. Epiphone has once again

teamed up with Gibson Custom Shop to release the Dave Grohl DG-335. This model combines the features of the ES-335 and Trini Lopez models that Dave requested and fans have come to expect. It features a full range of specifications, including diamond holes with binding, a semi-hollow ES body, an oval C-shaped neck profile, a one-piece mahogany neck, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, a Trini Lopez-style headstock, and a laurel fingerboard with split diamond inlays. The pickups are Dave’s favorite, Gibson USA Burstbucker, with a Burstbucker 2 on the neck side and a Burstbucker 3 on the bridge side. These are wired to CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch, and 1/4″ output jack. It also comes with a dedicated hardshell case.
