Description

Duesenberg is a guitar brand launched in 1986 by German guitar designer Dieter Gelsdorf.
Based on the jazz guitars designed in Germany in the 1950s, they continue to manufacture gorgeous, beautiful, and functional guitars.
While incorporating the Art Deco design seen in guitars such as D’Angelico, the meticulously designed guitars exude a sense of luxury.
And above all, the superb tone produced by the original design pickup continues to fascinate various guitarists, and is highly regarded not only in Germany but also around the world, and of course in Japan. The model

that arrived this time is one of the most popular models in Duesenberg’s lineup, along with the flagship model “Starplayer TV”.
As you can guess from the name, it is the Double Cat, which features a double cutaway!
It has a double cutaway design and a sound hole, but a solid body with a chambered structure is more suitable than a semi-hollow one. There
is no arch on the top or back, and the shape is simple and easy to hold.
Original parts such as PG and tremolo, and the Three Steps Ahead design give it a sense of luxury and presence, creating an atmosphere unique to Duesenberg.

As for wood specifications, the top is made of maple and the back is made of alder.
While it has a rich midrange, the maple top adds a core and a clear outline.
This makes it even easier to use for rock than the Starplayer.
A strong maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The tones of each wood blend exquisitely, resulting in a very balanced finish in terms of acoustic characteristics.

The pickups are also distinctive, with a humbucker-sized P-90 type on the front and a humbucker on the rear.
Both are original pickups, and the output is not too high or too low, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.
Rather than the sound that you would expect from a P-90, where the midrange is thick and noticeable, it has an exquisite tone that is clear and brilliant, yet still has a proper midrange.
It even feels delicate, and while it has a fairly thick tone, it outputs a good sound that is ideal for cutting, etc.
On the other hand, the humbucker is thick and has a rich low mid, so it is also suitable for hard music.
So, what kind of sound does the center position produce? When I played it, it was a very unique and brilliant sound. It may be close to the half tone of the ST type.
The rear pickup is tapped in the center position, and the volume balance of each position is also good.
It has good sound and versatility that can be used in various genres.

Other parts are also original designs, and the control parts are mounted on the pickguard with the Three Steps Ahead design like the head.
The Bigsby-like tremolo is also a unique design, and the looks are simply gorgeous and very cool.
The strap pin is a compatible Schaller type from the beginning, so it is a specification that will please those who love lock pins.

Although it is a guitar with a unique personality, it is actually a guitar with a wide range of pockets that will suit many guitarists.
It has a beautiful look, so it will definitely be cool if you master it!

Please take this opportunity to purchase it.
