Description

This 2022 Paul Reed Smith (PRS) 509 10-top guitar boasts “five pickups for nine different sound variations.”

The 509 features a 5-way blade switch and two mini switches, allowing for nine different wiring patterns. It features a 10-piece top-grade maple top and mahogany back with an all-lacquer finish (High-Gloss Nitro), a Pattern Regular-shaped mahogany neck, a 25.25-inch scale, 22 frets with bird inlays, the same HSH pickup layout as the 509, and hybrid components with alternating gold and nickel finishes. This player-focused

model offers more intuitive control over the sound variations developed with the 513.

Signs of use are evident, including stand marks on the end, small scratches and scuffs on the outer periphery, scuffs and pick marks, and tarnish and nicks on the metal parts and screws.

Upon arrival, the guitar was set up (cleaned, strings replaced, rod adjusted, octave adjusted, string height adjusted, and fret filed). The frets are at a height that is sufficient for playability, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right, and is in good condition.
