The McCarty series is a pillar of Paul Reed Smith. Paying homage to electric guitar legend Ted McCarty, the McCarty model embodies PRS’s latest discoveries and harkens back to the golden age of guitar.

[Body, Neck, and Fingerboard]

The body features a flame maple top, korina back, and korina neck. The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

[Neck Shape]

The neck shape is the “Pattern” shape used on McCarty models, which is rounder than the Pattern Regular and offers a slightly more grippy feel.

[Pickups]

The pickups are “58/15™,” a vintage-style pickup designed alongside the 85/15 pickups, featuring exceptional clarity and a sharp midrange.

PRS has long been a favorite of guitarists of all genres. You’ll experience maximum performance in a variety of settings, including live performances, sessions, and recording.
