DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the culmination of over 20 years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. This model is based on the McCarty, but features an original neck shape, slightly higher frets, and specially tuned pickups. This vintage-sounding DGT humbucker pickup was perfected after Paul and David spent countless hours A/B testing over 40 prototypes. The control section features two volume controls and a push/pull tone control, and the coil tap function produces a thick, lustrous single-coil sound, making it one of this model’s greatest attractions.
