Featuring a humbucker/single-humbucker/humbucker pickup layout and unique electronics, it delivers a wide range of tones from a single instrument.

With this vast range of tones, the Modern Eagle V will satisfy any player’s needs, from classic to modern, and expand the possibilities of the guitar. The

Modern Eagle V also features a 22-fret, 25-inch scale, maple top, mahogany back, patterned mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, bone nut, and a PRS Gen III tremolo.

Also for 2024, PRS Guitars updated the tuning pegs found on many Core models to improve sound.

The new wing button, designed with a bird inlay at the 12th fret, is lighter than the previous metal tuning peg button and reduces string vibration loss, resulting in longer sustain and a more musical tone.
