The Custom 24 is a model that can be said to be synonymous with PRS.
Since its announcement at Winter NAMM in 1985, the Custom 24 has continued to attract guitarists around the world with its reliable playability, sound, and looks, while undergoing detailed specification changes, and is a model that has determined the sound quality of PRS tone.

The Custom 24, which is loved by many players including top musicians who fly around the world and perform live, is equipped with volume & tone controls, 5-way blade switch, PRS’s original Gen III tremolo system, and DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickup. The DMO pickups, designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS new product engineering team, are the culmination of all the know-how cultivated in recent product development, from long-term research into vintage pickups to improvements in pickup sound analysis and tuning technology.

The DMO pickups have a rich sound characteristic like a wide vocal, and produce a transparent, modern sound across a wide frequency range from low to high frequencies.

In addition, in the latest models, PRS Guitars has updated the tuning pegs used in many Core models to improve the sound.
The new wing button, designed with the motif of a bird inlay with wings spread at the 12th fret, is lighter than the previous metal peg button, reducing the loss of string vibration and producing a longer sustain and more musical sound.
