A Jazzmaster with gold parts, desert sand finish, 22 frets, and US pickups is now available!
This is an Ishibashi Musical Instruments store original order Jazzmaster made in Japan.
The Jazzmaster, which started out with surf music and is now as popular as the Stratocaster Telecaster, has been released as an Ishibashi original model!
The finish is a rare “desert sand” finish for Japanese products. As the name suggests, the characteristic color like desert sand is a popular color used in the Mexican VINTERAII “JM” and “DuoSonic”. It
goes great with the gold parts, and the metal parts are unified in gold, including the pickguard. In addition, the pickup cover and control knobs are deliberately chosen as black parts, giving a tight impression.
This color is often produced at the Fender Custom Shop.
In addition, there is a strong commitment to the sound, and
while the body of the regular model is made of basswood, we chose alder to emphasize the thick and sticky midrange that is vintage-like.
There are also changes to the neck from the regular model. The relatively flat 9.5-inch radius “U” shaped maple neck is the same as the regular model, but
instead of the usual 21 frets, it has 22 frets and the frets have been changed to “Medium Jumbo” for more versatile playability.
In addition, the neck binding adds an extra touch of luxury.
The pickup, which is the key to the sound, is the USA-made “American Vintage ’65 Single-Coil Jazzmaster” used in the American Vintage series. It
outputs a thick, sweet, “emo sound” that is vintage-like, with a clear and crisp sound that is typical of the Jazzmaster!
This is a guitar that you can use right away!
