Tokai LS-101-CM “Reborn OLD” (Cherry Sunburst)
Description
Tokai began making electric guitars in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1977 and
has been leading the Japanese electric guitar culture for a long time.
Since they focus on quality over efficiency, they cannot make many, but they have fans all over the world due to their reliable construction.
The LS-101-CM “Reborn OLD” is a model with the headstock of the “Reborn OLD” that was revived in limited production.
The “Reborn OLD” was produced only for a short period of time between the “Les Paul Reborn” and the “Love Rock” that is still used today.
The “Reborn OLD” from around 1980 is highly regarded as a domestic copy of the Les Paul type.
The newly arrived LS-101-CM “Reborn OLD” has the same specifications as the current model LS-101, with only the headstock changed.
The pickup is equipped with PAF-Vintage MK2S, which is a low-power, clear pickup that maximizes the sound of the instrument, reminiscent of the original PAF that was installed in the vintage model.
As one of the few domestically produced Les Paul-type models, it is resistant to neck warping and can be used for a long time without being affected by the Japanese climate.
Tokai, a domestically produced guitar that places importance on sound and quality, boasts overwhelming cost performance and high quality.
