The So-Cal Style 2 is designed for light and expressive playing, with a hand-applied urethane finish on the back of the neck, a caramelized maple fingerboard with a 12-16 inch compound radius, 24 jumbo frets, pearloid dot inlays, and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. Luminlay side dots help you see the fret position even on a dark stage.

For unparalleled performance and versatility, the guitar features multi-voiced Fishman Fluence Open Core PRF-COC pickups for layered, dynamic tones. The bridge pickup features the perfect humbucking tone for hard rock (Voice 1) and an ideal vintage PAF humbucking tone tuned for perfect output (Voice 2). Similarly, the neck pickup offers Fluence’s signature tone: clear, airy sparkle, lustrous midrange and tight lows (Voice 1) or vintage PAF tone with ideal, balanced dynamics and output (Voice 2). The two voicings are switched with a 2-way mini-toggle, and a push/pull tone control bypasses the mini-toggle to activate Voice 3, delivering a clear, vintage single-coil tone in the neck position and a slightly overwound single-coil tone in the bridge position.
