Fender Made in Japan Limited Edition Telecaster (Raw Ash Vintage Natural)
Description
This is a limited model based on the popular series “Made in Japan Hybrid II” with an ash body and USA-made pickups!
Founded in the United States in 1945, Fender has produced models such as the “Telecaster” and “Stratocaster” that have been used by many legendary guitarists in the history
of electric guitars, and even now, 80 years later, it is still loved by artists at the forefront, and is a leading guitar brand that leads the electric guitar industry.
Fender is produced in the United States, Mexico as a cost-performance model, and Japan.
This model is part of the “Fender Made in Japan Hybrid” series produced in Japan. This series is worthy of being called a “hybrid” that
combines the classic look of the design data created by Fender USA and the high playability associated with the modern music scene, where the past and the future coexist. The conventional “Made in Japan Hybrid II” uses an alder body that is characterized by a slightly rounded and sticky middle, but this model uses ash wood. Ash wood has a wider sound range and a more penetrating sound than alder or basswood, and is the same specification as in the 1960s. Ash wood was previously used in the “American Professional” series made in the USA, but due to climate change in the country of origin, there has been a shortage of supply and rising prices, so roasted pine wood is used instead in the current model. This model uses expensive ash wood, which is currently only used in some models of the high-end “American Vintage II” series of Fender USA. In addition, an open pore finish is applied to make the clear wood grain stand out more by applying a thin coat of paint without filling the ducts. The neck is a thin, rounded Modern “C” shaped maple neck with a smooth matte satin finish on the back of the neck. Conventional gloss finishes can be slippery due to sweaty hands, which can hinder performance, but the satin finish does not brake during playing and boasts smooth, stress-free playability. The pegs are equipped with vintage type locking tuners. Conventional pegs can go out of tune when the wound strings loosen due to choking or arm bending, but locking tuners fix the strings without winding them in the first place, improving the stability of tuning during play. In addition, the angle from the peg to the nut is gentler than before, and the tension of the strings is reduced, improving playability and sustain. Since the work of winding the strings is eliminated, the effort of changing strings is reduced, and it can be handled without stress not only in terms of performance but also in terms of functionality. The pickup is equipped with Fender USA’s “Fender American Vintage ’58 Single-Coil Tele”, which has a rich and deep sound that expresses even more delicate and realistic nuances. It also uses the classic Orange Drop capacitor, which provides an excellent attack feeling, and the Pure Tone jack, which boasts connectivity that allows it to be firmly fixed even if it moves during performance and transmission of electrical signals. In addition to the usual three stages, the pickup selector also has a fourth stage, a series (series) arrangement, which allows you to output not only the hard and sharp mixed position parallel (parallel) arrangement sound that is typical of a normal Telecaster, but also a more powerful and noise-resistant humbucking sound by switching to a series arrangement. The series arrangement, which is also called a “pseudo humbucker” because it is similar to the structure of a humbucker, increases the volume and sound pressure, so you can expect it to work as a booster by switching it during performance. The “Made in Japan Hybrid” series boasts outstanding playability and ease of use, regardless of playing style or music genre.
