Description
Among the many electric guitars produced by various manufacturers, the PRS Custom24 series reigns as a standard model that transcends brands! This time, we have a recommended player’s condition used 2019 model in stock! The 2019 model has no changes to the specifications and inherits the popular 2017 specifications. Based on the highly rated 2016 model, the bridge is equipped with the latest Gen3 Tremolo.
The body has a flame maple top with an atmospheric fine grain, and the back is made of standard mahogany. The composition has been used as the wood for solid electric guitars for over 60 years, and it produces a rich midrange and a tone nuance that is perfect for rock guitars, with the attack of the approximately 20mm thick maple material. The neck is
made of mahogany, just like the back material, and the rosewood fingerboard laminated there has PRS’s signature bird inlay.
The frets are PRS original medium jumbo frets. The shallow fingerboard radius, mid jumbo frets, and smooth curved neck shape make this neck material excellent for playability.
The neck shape is Pattern Thin.
The pegs are PRS original locking tuners “Phase III Locking Tuners”, which not only provide tuning stability but also allow for instant string changes.
The pickups are 85/15, which were installed on the 30th Anniversary model produced in 2015.
From the name, it seems to be on the same line as pickups that aim for vintage tones such as 57/08 and 59/09, but in fact it was developed with the aim of a modern classic character, and it is a very easy-to-use pickup that has a wide range from high to low end and a moderate power with a punch.
In addition, the pickup bobbin is made in a style that has been produced continuously since 2012, with a bobbin shape that spreads to the inside of the escutcheon. This makes the gap between the escutcheon and the pickup smaller, making it less likely to cause howling at high volume, and the smaller gap also prevents the coil from breaking due to picking. There is little howling to begin with, and it is extremely rare for it to break when picking, but it is a specification that is more stress-free and is typical of PRS, which thoroughly pursues practicality.
Unlike the vintage style sound of recent years, the sound reminiscent of the HFS and #6 pickups creates a rock tone that makes you feel “This is the new custom sound!”.
The control outputs a 5-way sound with a blade switch. In the mixed position, the single coil mixed sound is output, so you can instantly switch between the humbucker sound and the
high-pass capacitor. Of course, the low gain sound when the volume is turned down is still there, and the clean tone allows you to control a variety of sounds that match finger picking and jazz/fusion using the tone control.
In addition, the tremolo unit is equipped with the latest “Gen3 Equipped with a tremolo.
PRS tremolo units have long been known for their low tuning deviation when using the arm, but this Gen3 tremolo has a groove under the saddle set screw for adjusting the string height, which minimizes the lateral movement of the saddle compared to previous tremolos.
In combination with the lightweight and highly accurate PRS original locking pegs, it reduces tuning deviation when using the arm more than ever before, and at the same time, the saddle mounting screws, string height adjustment set screws, contact points between the saddle and strings, and peg post are not plated, leaving the brass exposed to minimize spoiling of string vibration and overtones. Ease of use and sound have been prioritized even in the smallest details.
This time, we have a recommended player’s condition used item in stock! 201 It was made in 2009. There
are small scratches, scratches from playing, dents on the side of the body top, scratches and dents on the back of the body, uneven red paint near the serial number on the back of the neck, and dull parts, but there are no problems with playability. We have performed full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is in recommended condition and can be used immediately.
The frets have been treated to remove scratches. You can use it immediately. About 90% remains.
The nut has also been adjusted. There is no problem with using it as it is. There is no problem with normal adjustment of the truss rod.
The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there is no problem with operation.
The weight is about 3.36 kg. It is balanced and easy to use.
Accessories are the original hard case, key, arm, and tag.
