The traditional color of Gibson Les Paul, “Gold Top”, which has been continued since the early 50’s,
has undergone many changes in specifications, and the Les Paul Standard with two humbucker pickups continues to be in the lineup of Gibson regular models.
This model is equipped with a solid mahogany body and maple top, a rounded mahogany neck with a 50’s design, rosewood fingerboard, dish inlays, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stopbar tailpiece, vintage tuners, and gold top hat knobs. It is equipped with a
calibrated Burstbucker 1 in the neck position and Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position, Alnico II magnets, audio taper potentiometers, and orange drop capacitors, making it an uncompromising specification.
