0 Bass is based on a heavily modified 1959 EB-0 owned by Gene Simmons, bassist of legendary rock icon “KISS”.

This model, the first bass from Gibson Custom Shop, is based on the instrument that Gene Simmons actually used in the 1970s. It has been boldly modified in many ways, including refinishing, changing the neck shape, replacing the pickups and changing the mount position to the bridge side, custom pickguard, binding, and changing the tuners to Grovers?. The bridge has also been replaced with a high-mass model, so it can be strung as both a through-body and a top-load bridge. These specifications of Gene’s actual instrument have been faithfully reproduced. Comes with

a certificate, custom hardshell case, pick & pick case, patch, and pin badge.
